Who is dumb ?

It was mid 2020 and the time of elections had come , there were two contestants running for the same. Lets name them x and y. So one fine day x claimed that y is influencing other people's decisions and in return y stated that people are not aware of the complete picture ( i am just enlightening them) , even if they are aware then also if given options they would tend to act emotionally or rather impulsively . So x strengthened his/her claim by arguing that who is y to declare people impulsive , he has no right to judge people and people can make their own choices , he shouldn't try to enlighten them with what he thinks is right . It turns out y was extremely clever and he quickly pointed out that if x is making such an acquisition then he contradicts his own saying , in claiming that y can't declare the majority impulsive and y shouldn't try to enlighten them with his thoughts , then x has himself considered that people are gonna be affected by what y says and they will not be making their own choices , now who considers the majority to be dumb. Nobody needs to defend anybody . So whatever we do either we are influencing somebody or getting influenced , everybody likes what they believe.

A piece for dumb people like me:

Next time Pause before speaking /writing (making a decision).
The difference ("gap") between the Amygdala (our emotional, reptilian brain) and our Neocortex (our logical, thinking brain) is a pause.
The difference between a #reaction and #response is a pause.
The difference between a good #decision and a great #decision is a #pause.
Whether it is 100 milliseconds, 1 minute or 1 day, feed the #pause.

This is gonna be most effective against the so called impulsive behavior that i might show in a pressure situation.
Now i am gonna pause before deciding whether to post it or not.😂
So if you want to be yourself 😂 remember to pause after finishing this.

  2. But your pause must be accompanied by a solution. I believe a person's true decision is the decision that he or she finds most appropriate at that particular moment.
